Project Engineer Co-Op - Hot Section Engineering Project (Spring 2027) (Hybrid)

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Co-Op session, that will run from January to June (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).  

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

• →Participate in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budget.
• →Monitor progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules and ensure smooth project operations.
• →Gathers data to monitor project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specification to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved.
• →Maintains plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure established targets are met.
• →Responsible for project assignments with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
• →English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.

Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation and in service support of all diffuser cases, combustors, turbines (vanes, blades, rotors and cases), augmenters (military), nozzles and associated fuel systems for all military, commercial and industrial engine models and radial auxiliary power units.  

Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability and Product Definition.

Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a regular basis with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
