Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
Experience with mechanical design and integration of RF systems or subsystems.
Experience with bid solicitation and contract negotiations
Experience leading or managing a team
Experience managing Suppliers

Expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.

Responsibilities

→The candidate will follow established procedures and instructions while working closely with program and functional leadership to ensure that technical goals are met.
→The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
→The candidate will be also responsible for meeting cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements for their work products.
→Experience working with and directing suppliers is required.
→Key expertise includes bid solicitation, contract negotiations, production support, and issue resolution.
→Experience supporting international suppliers is a plus, as a key aspect of this role requires leading an international supplier of a critical mechanical assembly.
→Experience working closely with Raytheon factories and coordinating internal and supplier production schedules such that suppliers deliver their material on time to meet production is also a plus.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
