✓Executing processor qualification / certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution processes

✓Reviewing and making recommendations on quality data and contributes to the development of part / supplier specific quality issue resolution and corrective actions

✓Providing research on and explanations of root cause analysis & problem solving (Red-X & 8D) in escape management procedures. Making recommendations for the development of corrective and / or preventive actions

✓Executing processes and procedures for supplier qualification / certification, and Correction Action Boards / DQ Clinics with suppliers.

✓Ensuring that the quality of RTX suppliers, products and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and are continuously improving

✓Coordinating requests for corrective actions, audits, and waivers for special process suppliers. Performing Escape management procedures, drives root cause analysis & problem solving and recommends corrective and preventive action for systemic supplier non-conforming processes

✓Supporting the RTX supplier programs to ensure healthy continuous improvement and sustainability

✓Analyzing quality data to identify systemic issues and develops supplier specific quality strategies; addressing them with key proactive quality tools (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, SPC, etc.), as well as driving their implementation.

✓Working autonomously with limited supervision

✓Influencing others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices

✓Working as an individual contributor to set and achieve objectives of own area of responsibility

✓Influencing supplier qualification / certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution processes with knowledge and explanations of Supplier Quality & Compliance practices and procedures

✓Adapting and using multiples forms of interaction styles to convince and / or persuade people / stakeholders to follow ideas and proposals

✓Using flexible and adaptable working styles to build and develop effective cross-functional teamwork.

Strong background in Special Processes (Heat Treatment, Shot Peening, Grinding, Plating, Anodizing, NDT, Coatings, Composites, Electronics)
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to speak effectively and easily with both internal and external executives and employees
Ability to adapt and use multiples forms of interaction styles to influence stakeholders to follow ideas and proposals
Ability to use flexible and adaptable working styles to build and develop effective cross-functional teamwork
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy/ Chemistry engineering or similar field
Equivalent work experience may be considered instead of education
5+ years professional experience in a Manufacturing Engineering/Special Processes, Quality
Knowledge of Quality Regulations, Practical Problem Solving, QMS – Quality Management Systems, Auditing/Assessing, Risk Management / Continuous Improvement
Experience in the manufacturing area
Working knowledge of AS9100 and Nadcap
Knowledge of Nadcap special processes
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. (up to 40%)
