Environmental Engineer

• →Develop working knowledge of existing operations and processes to aid compliance with relevant regulatory standards
• →Support capital project teams by providing environmental input and requirements
• →Serve as a technical resource for environmental compliance and continuous improvement to the site operations team
• →Support investigations and recommend corrective actions to maintain environmental compliance

• →Using our Intelex software system, owns the environmental incident reporting and investigation system
• →Coordinates environmental testing, audits, inspections, and recordkeeping
• →Remains current on the state of the art in environmental control technologies
• →Performs data analysis to drive insights into environmental performance opportunities
• →Prepares regulatory compliance reports including emissions inventory, periodic air monitoring reports, Greenhouse Gas, and periodic hazardous waste reporting
• →Reviews and summarizes technical reports, identifying key takeaways and action items
• →Communicates and engages with regulators
• →Works with consultants to monitor relevant regulatory changes
• →Works with the training department to create and update training documentation
• →Responds promptly and effectively to the needs of the business.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited College or University
• 3+ years of previous work experience in an environmental compliance related role with a consulting firm or manufacturing business
• Previous work experience with facilitating regulators and on-site contractors

• Willingness and ability to wear a full-face respirator mask directly against skin, work in a hot/high temperature production facility, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in designated areas with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness and ability to comply with safety protocols and company-provided decontamination measures

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $99,304 - $163,760. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive plan which is determined by the achievement of strategic objectives. The market rate for the role is typically at the midpoint of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as candidate qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
