Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships, ensuring Senior Client’s needs are understood, such that it enhances the company’s reputation by fostering an environment of continuous improvement to maximize our customers’ satisfaction.

  • Track the forecast and priority of works and the team capacity in order to meet business critical requirements.

  • Establish and coordinate the supply chain so that they work together effectively, maximizing their contribution to meet objectives and project deadlines.

  • Act as a role model for project management best practice; both technically and behaviorally.

  • Refine and participate in project management, CDM, H&S processes, site safety, and governance as steered by G4S and key internal Stakeholders.

  • Prepare and distribute all necessary reports and documentation in a timely and professional manner to relevant stakeholders to enable monitoring, control, and communication.

  • Review provision and supply of quotations, using best suited internal and external suppliers, verifying value for money before seeking Client approval.

  • Field & On-Site Project Leadership: Act as a true in-the-field Project Manager (not an IT project manager), taking direct ownership of physical construction sites, low-voltage cabling runs, hardware deployments, and technical installations.

  • Travel & Facility Visits: Conduct regular travel and site visits to client installations and project facilities across target regions to oversee physical execution, conduct site surveys, and manage field operations.

  • Establish and maintain mutually trusting relationships with key client stakeholders on site and at leadership levels.

  • Responsible for the design development and hands-on site execution/installation management of an assigned project in line with the technical design requirements.

  • Supervise, monitor, and appraise the sub-contractor's physical construction & installation performance on site, ensuring that works are completed on time and any necessary corrective actions are taken in such areas as safety, quality, planning, and scheduling.

  • Development and participation in the site QA plan, ensuring that the highest physical and engineering standards are consistently maintained by sub-contractors on site.

  • Monitoring change control, ensuring change requests are submitted and followed through in the correct and timely manner.

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage Major Project Works requested by various client stakeholders.

  • Ensure control of cost, quality, and time, therefore incorporate and emphasize good planning/programming skills.

  • Update and maintain G4S Project Tracker to ensure that all task and work-related data is maintained to an acceptable standard.

  • Manage physical resources to meet daily delivery schedules and business requirements for services within the prescribed budget, minimizing financial performance deductions.

  • Liaise with Clients and their senior team, offering technical advice and knowledge regarding Construction Works, field infrastructure, and security hardware issues while ensuring contractual obligations are met.

  • Have a successful track record, preferably of more than 5 years of experience as a field-based Technical Project Manager, preferably in the physical security, construction, electrical engineering, or technical installations sector in a multinational company (Note: Experience strictly limited to IT/software project management will not fulfill this field engineering focus).

  • Have an educational background in engineering and technical project management.

  • Possess a solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in physical security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Fire Alarms) and infrastructure networks.

  • Are willing and available to travel to client project sites and facilities as required by site delivery schedules.

  • Possess excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

  • Have solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

  • Hold a PMP / PRINCE II certification (this is a plus).

  • Are comfortable working with MS Office and Google Workplace tools.

  • Are a team-player with a can-do attitude.

  • Have excellent organizational skills and an ability in problem-solving and negotiation.

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English language.

  • Have good attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Like to interact with current clients and quest for new ones.
