Collibra Platform Engineer

HarmonyTech is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Collibra Platform Engineer with the ability to work in a challenging, consultative, and collaborative environment. The selected candidate will provide technical execution, recommendations, implementation, testing, deployment, release, and operational support for Collibra platform initiatives. The contractor will work with Government stakeholders and coordinate activities through approved tools and repositories.

Position is available in Washington, DC; Requires U.S. citizenship.

Required

• 6+ years of experience in IT, with experience in enterprise application development, integration, and platform support
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Collibra
• Experience administering and configuring Collibra in multi-environment implementations
• Experience implementing and modifying Collibra operating models
• Experience supporting workflows built using Collibra Workflow Designer and Collibra Workflow Manager for Eclipse
• Experience with Collibra Edge, including metadata harvesting and lineage configuration
• Experience with Collibra Jobserver, including metadata harvesting
• Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting JDK-based microservices
• Experience with REST APIs, logging, exception handling, coding, and integration testing
• Experience maintaining software components on Linux servers
• Experience maintaining software components on Windows servers
• Experience managing certificates, secrets, service account credentials, and related integration dependencies
• Experience using source code management and Agile work-management platforms to track epics, stories, and tasks
• Ability to provide technical documentation, estimates, first-line technical triage, implementation, testing, deployment, release, and operational support
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, business users, and Government stakeholders

Desired

• Experience supporting Collibra within Federal Government or other regulated environments
• Experience with enterprise data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage
• Experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
• Experience supporting enterprise integrations across multiple environments
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical documentation skills

Certification

• Collibra Solution Architect certification or Collibra Ranger certification

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent relevant education and professional experience may be considered where permitted by contract requirements.
