The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be placed on an HISD campus (or multiple campuses) to provide comprehensive speech and language services in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. The SLP is responsible for managing a student caseload, conducting evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, and collaborating with the campus special education team.

~1 min read- Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Licensure: Current, valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) / SBESLPA.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a background check and complete HISD's required pre-hire paperwork/onboarding process.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school-based setting, particularly within a large urban district like HISD.
- Proficiency in HISD's preferred IEP/special education management software (e.g., EasyIEP, Enrich, etc.).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) SLPs are highly encouraged to apply!
