Right at Home is looking for a motivated Caregiver Recruitment & Training Coordinator to help us build and maintain an exceptional team of caregivers serving seniors, veterans, and families throughout our community.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in recruiting, employee onboarding, training, or healthcare operations who enjoys taking ownership of their work and seeing the results of their efforts.

Your primary focus will be caregiver recruitment, training, onboarding, and compliance. You'll also collaborate with our care coordination team to support referral partners and client care plans.

What You'll Do

Caregiver Recruitment & Hiring

Manage the caregiver recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting phone screenings, and coordinating interviews.
Actively recruit through Indeed, CareerPlug, community outreach, and other recruiting channels.
Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and anticipated staffing needs.
Consistently follow up with applicants, track recruiting activity, and identify opportunities to improve hiring results.

Caregiver Training & Onboarding

Lead new-hire orientations and caregiver training sessions.
Coordinate onboarding activities and prepare caregivers to deliver exceptional care.
Schedule ongoing training and annual refresher courses.
Help create a positive onboarding experience that encourages caregiver engagement and retention.

Compliance & Employee Records

Maintain accurate, organized, and complete caregiver personnel files.
Coordinate and track California Department of Social Services (CDSS) registration, Live Scan, TB clearance, and other applicable compliance requirements.
Proactively monitor expiring documents, coordinate renewals, and maintain compliance records.
Ensure caregivers complete all applicable onboarding and compliance requirements before being cleared for assignments.

Referral & Care Coordination Support

Assist our care coordination team with VA, The Helper Bees, and other healthcare referral partner communications and updates.
Support referral intake, assessment coordination, and follow-up as assigned.
Assist with creating and updating client care plans in WellSky.
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure accurate documentation, timely communication, and a positive experience for clients and referral partners.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Experience in recruiting, employee onboarding, training, healthcare administration, or a related operational role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence interacting with applicants, employees, and external partners.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
Comfortable learning new technology and maintaining accurate electronic records.

Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in recruiting, human resources, healthcare staffing, or home care operations.
Experience conducting employee orientations or facilitating training.
Familiarity with California home care regulations and caregiver compliance requirements.
Experience with WellSky, CareerPlug, Indeed, or similar platforms.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Previous home care experience is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates from other industries who bring strong recruiting, training, and organizational experience.
