At HDR, we're growing our Power Program Management team and looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help deliver complex power and energy infrastructure projects and programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project activities, and building a long-term career in project and program management.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced Project and Program Managers to support the planning, coordination, and successful execution of major infrastructure projects. You'll play a key role in keeping teams aligned, tracking project progress, facilitating communication, and helping projects move efficiently from development through completion. This position offers exposure to the full lifecycle of power infrastructure projects, providing valuable experience across planning, design, construction, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

→Experience supporting power, energy, utility, engineering, construction, or other complex infrastructure projects.
→Experience supporting large capital programs or multidisciplinary projects involving multiple contractors, consultants, or stakeholder groups.
→Understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, change management, quality, and document control.
→Experience using project management systems and tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, Procore, e-Builder, Kahua, InEight, Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
→PMP certification or demonstrated progress toward a project management certification.

Required Qualifications

→Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related professional experience
→5 years related experience
→Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
→An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
