Solution Architect (Python)

The key challenge is to design an architecture that supports complex business logic, rich user experiences, efficient data processing, and future scalability while remaining simple, pragmatic, and cost-effective to build.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team of senior engineers, including Python, Full Stack, JavaScript, QA, and DevOps specialists, as well as Product and Design stakeholders.

The focus is on delivering a maintainable, secure, and scalable solution without unnecessary complexity or over-engineering.

• →Define the overall solution architecture, technical structure, and key technology decisions.
• →Translate product requirements and UX concepts into feasible, scalable technical solutions.
• →Design the architecture of a complex, interactive web application with a strong frontend component.
• →Define clear boundaries between frontend, backend, APIs, data processing, data storage, and external integrations.
• →Design efficient approaches to data processing, storage, querying, and API performance.
• →Ensure the architecture can support large volumes of data and computationally intensive processing where required.
• →Work closely with Product, Product Design, and Engineering throughout discovery, design, and implementation.
• →Keep business logic and product value at the center of architectural decisions while evaluating technical feasibility.
• →Identify technical risks, constraints, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs early.
• →Ensure the solution is maintainable, secure, performant, scalable, and cost-efficient.
• →Provide technical guidance and architectural support to the development team during implementation.
• →Leverage AWS cloud services and infrastructure capabilities to design reliable and cost-effective solutions.

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture or Software Architecture for modern web applications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure, including the design of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.
• Experience designing complex, interactive, frontend-heavy applications.
• Solid understanding of frontend and backend architecture, APIs, data storage, integrations, and system boundaries.
• Experience designing systems that handle large volumes of data and computationally intensive processing.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, querying, processing, and application performance optimization.
• Ability to evaluate technology choices and select appropriate architectural patterns based on product requirements.
• Experience collaborating with senior engineers across different technical specializations, including Python, JavaScript, Full Stack, and DevOps.
• Ability to identify architectural risks and make informed technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
