Energy Storage Project Engineer
Quick Summary
About Us Highland Electric Fleets’ mission is to make electric fleets accessible and affordable for all, enabling communities to realize the benefits of cleaner, quieter and healthier fleets.
The Project Engineer owns the engineering design packages that take qualified sites through to permit-ready status across a large, fast-moving portfolio of EV charging, battery energy storage (BESS), and edge compute projects.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer generates and reviews conceptual-through-construction design packages, functionally leads Highland's external engineering partners, and serves as the technical authority on utility and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements — carrying the concept design packages through Issued-for-Permit (IFP), and permit-application packages that bring each site to build-ready.
