The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Power Transformer up to 345 kV Class design covering different countries.
Responsible to perform internal design of the transformer including cleats and leads meeting factory limitation, guideline, and checklist as per IEEE / IEC /IS standards.

Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics

Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
Participation in internal design concept reviews.
Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

B.E / B. Tech Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
4 to 10 Years in internal design of the transformer including Core, Active Part & Winding for oil filled, Power Transformers manufacturing Industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must. Creo is considered as an advantage.
Should understand Transformer Design, Mechanical Calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and cleats lead arrangement.
Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC /IEEE Standards & Canadian Standards
Experience in C&L design / Tank & externals is an advantage
Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
