Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of production machinery and facility systems. You will be responsible for planning and executing preventive maintenance activities, managing spare parts, supporting new equipment investments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity, quality, and equipment uptime.

How you will make an impact

• Develop and execute annual preventive maintenance plans, ensuring activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for production machinery and facility systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Review and manage spare parts inventory, including critical spare parts, to ensure timely availability and minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor daily machine inspection checklists conducted by operators and ensure maintenance standards are followed consistently.
• Support new equipment investments by preparing specifications, participating in equipment design reviews, and contributing to project implementation.
• Train and guide operators on the safe and effective use of new machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to design fixtures, kitting solutions, and process improvements that enhance productivity and product quality.
• Drive equipment reliability initiatives by analyzing machine performance and implementing actions to achieve minimum downtime across production lines.

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an FDI manufacturing environment, working with production equipment and/or Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and maintenance planning tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and provide support during nights or weekends when required for troubleshooting or contractor supervision.
• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
