The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Oil Type Power Transformer up to 345 kV Class design covering different countries.
Responsible to perform internal / external design of the transformer including cleats and leads and or core, active part and windings / Tank and Externals meeting factory limitation, guideline, and checklist as per IEEE / IEC /IS standards.
Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc & submission to customer as per project schedule.

Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics.

Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
Participation in internal design concept reviews.
Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering.
0 to 8 Years experience working in Mechanical design for oil filled, Power Transformers manufacturing Industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must. Creo is considered as an advantage.
Should understand Transformer Design, Mechanical Calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and cleats lead arrangement.
Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC /IEEE Standards & Canadian Standards
Experience in winding design / Tank & externals is an advantage
Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.
Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
