Senior Japanese Speaking Project Manager (in HCMC)

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, managing timelines, scope, risks, and budgets.

• Apply Japanese project management standards to ensure quality and compliance.

• Track and resolve issues, manage resource planning, and maintain performance goals.

• Communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders and internal teams.

• Identify and mitigate delivery risks and scope changes proactively.

• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, technical, and contractual expectations.

• Maintain project documentation and reporting.

• Extensive experience leading end-to-end software delivery projects for enterprise clients, ensuring successful execution from project initiation through deployment and post-production support.

• Proven track record in managing project scope, quality, budget, resources, and schedules while consistently delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software engineering practices, and project delivery methodologies.

• Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, with solid knowledge and practical experience in Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe or equivalent).

• Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple stakeholders and teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Strong leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional, multicultural, and distributed teams.

• Fluency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above is strongly preferred.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
