Senior Project Specialist - Manufacturing and Industrialization

Join Hitachi Energy's exciting large-scale Greenfield Factory project and play a key role in shaping the future of manufacturing excellence. You will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of production processes, manufacturing systems, and factory infrastructure from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to work with global experts, drive innovative manufacturing solutions, and support the successful launch of a world-class production facility.

• You will support the development and industrialization of end-to-end manufacturing processes for a new Greenfield Factory producing electrical equipment for Utilities, Industrial, Datacenters and Renewables.
• You will develop production concepts, workflows, and manufacturing solutions aligned with global best practices and operational requirements.
• You will identify and implement opportunities to improve production efficiency, manufacturability, safety, and operational readiness.
• You will define technical requirements and specifications for manufacturing machinery, equipment, and factory assets.
• You will support equipment evaluation, installation, commissioning, and production start-up activities.
• You will drive the implementation and integration of manufacturing systems, production technologies, and digital solutions.
• You will lead assigned work packages, monitor project milestones, manage risks, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• You will collaborate with global and local teams across Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, HSE, IT, and external partners to ensure successful factory readiness and execution.

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, factory engineering, production engineering, management consultant background or manufacturing project implementation.
• Experience with manufacturing process design, production lines, machinery specification, or factory setup projects.
• Strong stakeholder coordination skills, problem-solving, logical thinking and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both English and Vietnamese, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield projects, equipment commissioning, manufacturing systems, factory digitalization, or production ramp-up activities is highly desirable.
