Design Engineer

Role Description

 As a Design Engineer, you will provide initial design support to partners, working closely with the Business Development and Sales teams

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Business Development and Sales teams to handle design and review requests from customers and partners
• Support fire alarm and fire suppression design request or design review from customers or partners
• Create AutoCAD drawings from scratch or modify existing ones to meet project requirements.
• Convert single-line diagrams from competitor brands to Hochiki systems (when required)
• Provide additional design support for systems such as water cannon, fire suppression, and air sampling systems

Education/Experience / Knowledge/Skill requirements

•  Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience in the fire detection industry is an advantage
• Familiarity with NFPA standards (NFPA 101, NFPA 72, NFPA 2001, NFPA 2010)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) & TCVN certification
• At least 2-3 years of experience working with TCVN codes
• Fluent in English to communicate with regional colleagues
• Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles
• Possession of a Fire Prevention & Fighting certificate issued by the Vietnam Fire Police Department will be considered an advantage.
• Possession of CAD or Revit training/certification will be considered an added advantage
