DevOps Intern (Undergraduate)

Duration: 6 months

Requirement: Currently enrolled at University

We are looking for an enthusiastic undergraduate student to join our DevOps team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to modern software delivery, cloud-native technologies, and infrastructure automation, with a primary focus on DevSecOps practices.

As part of the team, you will contribute to improving software supply chain security, open-source governance, and vulnerability management while gaining experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.

• →Support DevSecOps initiatives with a focus on: Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation, validation, and maintenanceMonitoring, tracking, and assessing Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs)Open-source software compliance and governance activitiesSecurity and compliance automation within development workflows
• →Assist in the development and maintenance of GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines
• →Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) projects across both on-premises and cloud environments
• →Support Kubernetes-based application deployments and platform operations
• →Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps engineers, and security stakeholders to improve development and delivery processes

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Strong interest in one or more of the following areas: DevOps and CI/CDCloud-native technologiesKubernetes and container platformsInfrastructure as CodeApplication and software supply chain securityOpen-source software governance and vulnerability management
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative environment
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail

• Familiarity with Linux systems
• Basic scripting experience with Bash
• Programming experience in Python or Go
• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker
• Exposure to Git and GitHub workflows
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and container orchestration concepts

• Practical experience with industry-standard DevOps and DevSecOps tools and practices
• Exposure to cloud and on-premises infrastructure management
• Experience working with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of software supply chain security, SBOM management, and vulnerability remediation processes
• Mentorship from experienced DevOps and security professionals
