Role: Finance Excellence Manager
Location: Mandaluyong City

We are looking for a Finance Excellence Manager to lead strategic initiatives that improve finance operations, strengthen internal controls, and support the organization's transformation agenda. This role serves as a key driver of process improvement and operational excellence within the Finance function, ensuring that systems, workflows, and reporting processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
The position will play a critical role in finance transformation projects, including ERP implementations and enhancements, process standardization, inventory management improvements, and cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and IT teams.
This role requires a combination of finance expertise, project management capabilities, and change management skills to successfully deliver initiatives that improve business performance and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Transformation & Process Improvement
- Lead and manage finance transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, process effectiveness, and financial governance.
- Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and cost optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement projects across accounting, reporting, controls, inventory, and other finance-related functions.
- Develop future-state process designs and ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
ERP and Systems Implementation
- Serve as a key finance representative for ERP implementation, migration, and enhancement projects, including SAP-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with business users, project teams, and external partners to define requirements, validate solutions, and ensure successful deployment.
- Support system testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), process validation, and issue resolution.
- Ensure new systems and tools effectively support finance and operational requirements.
Inventory Management & Financial Controls
- Partner with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Operations teams to strengthen inventory management processes and controls.
- Evaluate inventory-related workflows and recommend improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and visibility.
- Support initiatives related to inventory reconciliation, stock movements, costing, and reporting.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones, deliverables, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
- Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Prepare project updates, presentations, and status reports for management and leadership teams.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Change Management & Capability Building
- Support organizational change initiatives associated with process and system transformations.
- Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure effective adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide recommendations to management based on project outcomes and performance metrics.
- Ensure sustainability of implemented improvements through ongoing monitoring and governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Finance Transformation, Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Finance Operations, or Project Management roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, internal controls, and finance operations.
- Experience supporting ERP implementation, migration, or optimization projects, preferably SAP.
- Exposure to inventory management, supply chain processes, or manufacturing/distribution environments is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
