Responsibilities
~1 min read• Produce and validate HV equipment specifications and design outputs.
• Review, endorse and sign off critical engineering documentation and standards.
• Develop accurate technical inputs for project scope, estimates and decisions.
• Build team technical capability through coaching, knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex engineering issues to maintain project delivery cadence.

Requirements
~1 min read• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (eligible for Engineers Australia membership).
• Extensive experience in High Voltage (HV) power generation equipment and Low Voltage (LV) AC and DC systems.
• Strong capability in electrical design of high voltage installations, development of equipment specifications and contemporary engineering practices in a utility or power generation environment.
• Proven ability to deliver complex engineering outcomes across multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated leadership through mentoring and influencing stakeholders.
You’ll join the Capital Delivery team within Assets & Infrastructure, delivering critical upgrades and modernisation programs across Tasmania’s hydropower network, working alongside highly skilled engineers and technical specialists.
