ICONIQ Impact seeks a Grants Manager to lead the execution of the grants phase of our philanthropic initiatives, from grantee selection through the completion of multi-year grant cycles. This role is central to delivering high-quality, trust-based grantmaking and ensuring ICONIQ Impact operates as a reliable, organized, and values-driven partner to grantees and donors alike.
This role sits within ICONIQ Impact, which catalyzes collaborative philanthropy for effective giving at scale. As part of a mission-driven team, you will help advance equitable philanthropy through rigorous execution, strong partnerships, and uncommon care.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Oversee the full lifecycle of grants, including deliverables, timelines, and documentation, proactively identifying risks and ensuring timely execution across initiatives.
- →Develop and maintain standardized grant administration processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment with approved practices.
- →Coordinate donor contributions and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure funds are received and deployed accurately and on schedule.
- →Maintain complete and up-to-date grant and grantee records in internal systems, supporting accurate performance tracking and impact reporting.
- →Lead reporting processes across initiatives, including creating standardized templates and synthesizing complex programmatic information into clear materials for internal and external audiences.
- →Manage consultants supporting monitoring, evaluation, and reporting efforts, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with scope, timelines, and values.
- →Serve as a primary point of contact for grantee partners, leading onboarding and offboarding processes and fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
- →Drive the development of grant-related publications and donor communications, including quarterly updates and annual reports, while elevating grantee stories and initiative-level outcomes.
- 5+ years of experience in philanthropy, nonprofit organizations, social impact consulting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting large-scale grants, including administration, reporting, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to advancing trust-based, pro-grantee practices and equitable philanthropy.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with accountability and precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling materials.
- Experience collaborating across diverse stakeholders and building strong, values-driven partnerships.
- Familiarity with grants management systems and customer relationship management tools such as Salesforce.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and technologies is a plus. We value team members who are curious about leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.
