The Family Office Advisory Senior Associate is a critical member of the relationship management team responsible for coordinating complex family office operations and projects, driving the implementation of technical planning strategies, client service execution, and cross-functional workflows for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. This role sits within ICONIQ Investment Management which strives to deliver exceptional investment portfolios by harnessing the differentiated capital and strategic strength of the ICONIQ community.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support Relationship Managers on large family office client relationships and/or manage operations for smaller relationships and serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day client service needs.
- →Act as a central coordinator and project lead across clients, internal teams, attorneys, accountants, trustees, and other external advisors to drive the implementation of complex trust and estate planning strategies, including entity structuring, gifting programs, trust funding, wealth transfer planning, philanthropic structures, and related family office matters.
- →Coordinate, oversee, and execute investment operations, banking and liquidity activity, bill pay, asset acquisitions, insurance administration, and other family office services with a focus on high-touch, seamless service and operational excellence.
- →Translate client goals and requests into actionable work plans, driving execution across internal teams and external advisors to deliver solutions for clients.
- →Develop a deep understanding of assigned clients’ expectations and preferences in order to serve as a knowledgeable client advocate and ensure tailored execution.
- →Serve as a mentor and technical resource to client analysts and senior client analysts, working towards management responsibilities.
- →Be an engaged culture carrier and play a leadership role in firmwide initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience. (Family office, wealth management, or other experience working with high net worth families is preferred).
- Proven thoughtful and dynamic leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to exceed clients’ expectations.
- Strong trust and estate and/or personal tax experience, and ability to present key concepts to clients.
- Experience with Fidelity Wealthscape and Salesforce a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies is a plus. We value team members who are curious about leveraging AI to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.
