  • Provide hands-on support for data migration and system integration efforts, including legacy application migration to Salesforce.
  • Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity, accessibility (Section 508), and records management requirements within the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams in Agile/DevSecOps environments to deliver Salesforce enhancements and releases.

  • Present Salesforce architecture strategies and technical recommendations to senior federal leadership and oversight bodies.
  • Manage user roles, profiles, permission sets, workflows, flows, and validation rules to support secure and efficient platform operations.
  • Mentor technical teams and administrators on Salesforce best practices, configuration standards, and platform governance.

 Qualifications and Skills

  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, development, or solution architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions, preferably in the federal sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Government Cloud, Sales Cloud, and/or Service Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder) and programmatic development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
  • Knowledge of federal IT policies, cybersecurity requirements (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP), and compliance frameworks as applied to the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect.
  • Experience with federal IT modernization, cloud migration, and COTS integration projects involving Salesforce.
  • Background in full stack development (Java, Spring, React, TypeScript, etc.) to guide implementation teams and support custom Salesforce integrations.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other enterprise platforms used alongside Salesforce in federal environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, integration middleware such as MuleSoft) for system-to-system data exchange.
  • Prior experience supporting federal programs requiring high availability, security, and scalability.
