IEM is currently seeking a Planning Supervisor for our Jacksonville, FL locations and will report into the Planning Manager. This position is primarily responsible for supervising the daily activities of the planning team and coordinating production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. The Planning Supervisor provides hands-on leadership to Production Planners, Schedulers, and Production Control personnel, ensuring accurate planning, effective communication, and timely execution of production schedules.

Supervises the daily activities of the Production Planning, Scheduling, and Production Control team
Coordinates with Production leadership to develop and execute production schedules that support on-time customer delivery.
Monitors production schedules and works with manufacturing supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts and production constraints.
Ensures accurate job sequencing to optimize efficiency and minimize lead times.
Tracks schedule adherence and recommends schedule adjustments based on shop floor conditions.
Escalates work order delays, material shortages, and capacity concerns to management while coordinating timely resolutions.
Maintains accurate production schedules and planning data within the ERP/MRP system.
Assists in estimating manufacturing times for assemblies and supports continuous improvement efforts to improve production flow and reduce cycle times.
Tracks and reports production planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management.
Promotes standardized planning processes and supports Lean Manufacturing initiatives within the department.
Trains, coaches, and develops planning team members while fostering collaboration and accountability.
Performs additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
