The building you maintain is what makes that possible: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and the sterilization equipment itself all depend on the work this role does every day.

Two full-time shifts available at this location — day shift and evening shift — supporting a facility that combines climate-controlled interior space with rooftop and mechanical-room work.

•     Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility infrastructure

•     Perform routine inspections to catch wear, safety concerns, and equipment issues early

•     Respond to maintenance work orders from sterile processing and other departments

•     Handle basic repairs — filters, leaks, lighting, minor equipment malfunctions

•     Monitor the building automation system and report anomalies

•     Perform general upkeep: painting, minor carpentry, door and hardware repairs

•     Document all maintenance activity and repairs in the work order system

•     6 months to 1 year of experience in building maintenance, facilities operations, or a related trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance)

•     Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely

•     Willingness to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for emergencies

•     Ability to work varied schedules

•     OSHA 10 certification

•     CPR and First Aid certification

•     Prior experience in a healthcare, laboratory, or commercial facility environment

•     High school diploma or equivalent

People who'd rather fix the small problem before it's a work order than wait for it to become one. You're comfortable moving between a climate-controlled office and a rooftop unit in the same shift, and you document what you did instead of just doing it.

This is a production/clinical-adjacent environment — climate-controlled indoors and rooftop/uncontrolled spaces, with ladders and occasional confined spaces. We'd rather you know now than find out in week two.

•     Standing and walking more than half your shift

•     Frequent reaching, grasping, and hands-on tool work

•     Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly; occasional lifting over 50 lbs

•     Frequent exposure to biohazardous materials and strong chemical odors; regular PPE use

•     Climbing, balancing, bending, and stooping as a routine part of the job

Full-time, on-site. Two shift options: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. After-hours on-call rotation required.
