ISO New England has an important role to play in securing the region’s clean and reliable energy future. In this role you will assist in the Day-Ahead and Real-Time Energy Markets operations in accordance with established Market Rules, manuals and procedures.

How you will make an Impact
Executing and approving the Day-Ahead Market.
Monitoring and finalizing Real-Time Energy Market Locational Marginal Prices (LMPs), Reserve Market Clearing Prices (RMCPs), and Regulation Clearing Prices (RCPs).
Carrying out complex pre- and post-production market and system operations analysis
Actively participating in process improvement
Developing, testing and delivering market process or software changes
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Math, Science, or other relevant areas.
Ability to work independently, use good judgment, and manage priorities effectively while meeting production deadlines
Experience providing exceptional customer service and working successfully in a team environment
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and advanced report writing and presentation skills
Proficiency with MS Excel and/or Access
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours and weekend coverage
We are open to the following levels, based on experience in systems, transmission reliability, and/or market operations:
Assistant Analyst: 0+ years of experience or knowledge
Associate Analyst: 1+ years of industry experience
Analyst: 4+ years of industry experience
Senior Analyst: 6+ years of industry experience
This employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position (ex: H-1B, F-1/CPT/OPT, O-1, E-3, TN, J, etc.).
The expected salary range for an Assistant Analyst through Analyst is $78,000 - $112,000 per year. We will also consider a Senior Analyst and the pay range for that level is $107,000 - $120,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental and vision), flexible spending and health savings accounts, a 401(k) plan with generous employer contributions and a student debt benefit, life and AD&D insurance, disability insurance, critical illness and hospital indemnity benefits, paid time off, paid leave, a wellness program, an employee assistance program and other great company perks.
