Responsibilities

→Firmware Development: Writing, debugging, and testing firmware for optical transceivers, often using C or C++.
→Hardware Integration: Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure the firmware works seamlessly with the transceiver's hardware.
→Testing and Validation: Thoroughly testing firmware to ensure it meets performance and reliability requirements.
→Problem Solving: Debugging and resolving issues with firmware and hardware integration.
→Performance Optimization: Optimizing firmware for speed, efficiency, and power consumption.
→Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of firmware code and functionality.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree: Typically a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Experience: Relevant experience in firmware development, embedded systems, and optical transceivers is highly desirable.
Master's Degree or Ph.D.: May be preferred or required for more senior positions.
