Senior Test Engineer

Job Description:   

Senior Test Engineer positions offered by Jabil Inc. (Florence, Kentucky). Designing and developing automated and manual test procedures for large-scale computer systems. Conducting failure analysis and implementing corrective actions to ensure product reliability and compliance. Applying advanced proficiency in Linux environments, Python scripting, and data-driven performance validation. Troubleshooting and integrating server, network, and hardware accelerator systems within high-volume manufacturing. 

Minimum Requirements:   

• Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computing, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience designing and developing automated and manual test procedures for server performance validation.  

• Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:   

• Working with computing hardware and identifying computing server functions; 

• Developing and executing test scripts using Python, Shell script, Linux, and SQL; 

• Utilizing Linux commands for test automation, error analysis, debugging, and log analysis; 

• Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to improve system design, validation, and production test coverage; 

• Performing root causes analysis and implementing corrective actions; and  

• Conducting functional, performance, and reliability testing of high-performance computer systems. 

• In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and demonstrated proficiency in the skillsets above. 
   

• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
