Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: 5th Floor, 504 A, PSR Prime Towers, DLF Rd, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana 500032 Responsibilities: • Product Design and Specification: Design and specification of innovative products, with a primary focus on developing sheet metal components and structures for automotive applications. • Safety and Functional Requirements: Ensure all designs meet stringent functional and safety requirements, adhering to industry standards and regulations. • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation, including detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring all changes and updates are clearly communicated and recorded. • Design Communication: Facilitate effective communication and documentation of design changes, updates, and project progress to all relevant stakeholders. • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to address design-related issues and drive project success. • Leadership and Mentoring: Provide leadership and mentoring to junior design engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Requirements Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CREO, or CATIA. Product Development Experience: Demonstrated experience in product development, particularly in the automotive sector. Technical Skills: Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of engineering principles and design practices. Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach to addressing design challenges. Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Leadership: Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
