Facilities Operations Manager

• →Oversee daily facilities operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
• →Manage work order systems and prioritize maintenance requests, coordinating response times and ensuring timely resolution of facilities issues
• →Supervise vendor relationships and service contracts, monitoring performance quality, managing schedules, and conducting regular vendor evaluations
• →Conduct facility inspections and walkthroughs to identify potential issues, ensure cleanliness standards, and verify maintenance completion
• →Coordinate with the maintenance team to develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with equipment service requirements
• →Respond to emergency situations and after-hours issues, implementing contingency plans and mobilizing resources as needed
• →Track operational metrics and prepare performance reports, identifying trends and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency
• →Acts as CM during absences. Fully authorized to make contract decisions.

• 5+ years as a facilities manager in a facility comparable in size and scope, or 7+ years of direct experience in facilities management with a min.
• Experience must include managing a complex 24/7 operation, encompassing multiple trades and utilities with a diverse workforce
• Excellent communication skills with ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, vendors, and campus stakeholders
• Must be IFMA certified or willing to obtain within 90 days of being hired

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Prior experience managing facilities maintenance operations in government buildings or large campuses
