Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
- →Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
- →Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed
- →Replace lighting and ballasts
- →Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
- →Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary
- →Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
- →Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- →Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled
- →Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
- →Update work order status in real time using our CMMS system
- →Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner
- →Attend work and safety meetings as required
- →Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3-5 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, HVAC systems, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read and understand a one line/ladder diagram
- Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, and operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., climb a 30-foot ladder, and perform frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead
- Strong customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and write reports clearly and thoroughly and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Experience working in greenhouse environments
- Experience with greenhouse climate systems
- Electrical experience and wire running capabilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments
- Experience operating electric hand tools and motor vehicles
- Ability to visually inspect machinery and buildings.
- Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly. Able to work on roofs of buildings – able to safely perform overhead work while standing on a ladder.
- Ability to detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual.
- Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate a motor vehicle.
What We Offer
