You’ll manage day-to-day administration across health, welfare, retirement, voluntary benefits, and wellness programs.
The role combines benefits expertise with employee communications, technology, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll serve as a key resource for employees navigating benefits questions, life events, eligibility, and coverage decisions.
You’ll also play a central role in annual Open Enrollment, from system configuration and testing through communications and employee education.
Working closely with HR, payroll, HRIS, vendors, and benefits partners, you’ll help improve accuracy, efficiency, and employee engagement.
This role is ideal for a benefits professional who can turn complex information into simple experiences while continuously looking for smarter ways to work.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

4+ years of experience in HR, employee benefits, corporate communications, or a related area, including dedicated experience managing employee benefit programs.

Strong knowledge of employee health and welfare benefits, including HSAs, FSAs, and High Deductible Health Plans.

Working knowledge of retirement benefits, including 401(k) plans, as well as COBRA and leave administration.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Benefits Administration is preferred.

Technical understanding of Workday business processes, Open Enrollment configuration, coverage updates, integration troubleshooting, and custom reporting is highly valuable.

Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex benefits terminology into clear, accessible, and compelling information.

Strong project management and organizational skills, particularly when coordinating annual enrollment activities, communications, testing, and vendor deliverables.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Ability to collaborate effectively with HRIS, Payroll, HR, benefits consultants, vendors, and employees.

Proactive problem-solving mindset with an interest in using technology and AI to improve processes.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and employee focus.
