This role offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy while mentoring developers and fostering continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong architectural expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

As the technical lead for e-commerce front-end development, you will oversee application architecture, team performance, and the continuous improvement of web experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, dynamic, and maintainable front-end solutions using Next.js.

  • Lead front-end delivery across web properties, with a primary focus on the main e-commerce website.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, QA specialists, and product managers to integrate React components and deliver cohesive user experiences.

  • Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, support professional growth, and organize training sessions and workshops on Next.js and front-end best practices.

  • Establish and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and code review processes to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.

  • Use GraphQL to fetch and manipulate API data from composable e-commerce and headless CMS platforms.

  • Own website accessibility in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and optimize Core Web Vitals across e-commerce experiences.

  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve front-end architecture, development workflows, and overall delivery quality.

  • Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, sprint reviews, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Implement and analyze A/B tests to evaluate website improvements and inform data-driven optimization decisions.
