Principal Full Stack Engineer

The Principal Full Stack Engineer will shape the next generation of a customer relationship management platform serving the automotive repair industry. In this high-impact role, you will lead architectural decisions, build scalable software solutions, and drive complex products from concept to launch. You will focus on core platform capabilities, data ingestion, processing, and automation while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. A central part of the role involves integrating large language models and designing AI-driven, autonomous workflows directly into engineering and production systems. Working closely with product leaders and fellow engineers, you will translate customer needs into technical innovations that deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack engineer with strong architectural judgment, hands-on AI expertise, and a high level of ownership. You should be comfortable making strategic technical decisions while remaining actively involved in implementation and delivery. Key qualifications include:

• At least 7 years of professional experience building complex, web-based SaaS products.

• Strong ownership and accountability, with a demonstrated ability to take challenging projects from initial concept through successful delivery.

• A proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Hands-on experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and the use of AI tools to accelerate development and solve technical challenges.

• Proven experience deploying AI-powered features and autonomous, agentic workflows in production environments.

• Practical experience integrating AI tools into CI/CD pipelines, such as automated code-review agents, AI-assisted testing, or agentic workflow orchestration.

• Strong database expertise across relational systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB and Redis, including schema design and query optimization.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in terms of product outcomes and collaborate effectively with engineering and business leadership.

• Familiarity with .NET, Node.js, TypeScript, and React is preferred.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is an advantage.

• Previous experience as a founding engineer or in an early-stage startup environment is beneficial.

• Experience building or integrating Claude marketplace plugins and related Anthropic ecosystem capabilities, including prompt chaining, tool use, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, is a plus.

• Ability to work remotely within the United States and collaborate effectively with teams operating on Eastern Time.
