MarketingGrowth Marketing Manager

As Senior Growth Marketing Manager, you will own the end-to-end growth strategy for a veterinary staffing marketplace, helping independent animal hospitals discover, adopt, and consistently use innovative staffing solutions. You will lead acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation initiatives, with success measured by meaningful business outcomes rather than sign-ups alone. As the first dedicated growth marketer for the hospital business, you will build the growth engine from the ground up, shaping channel strategy, budget allocation, experimentation, and performance measurement. Working closely with Sales, Product, Analytics, Lifecycle Marketing, and Brand teams, you will turn customer insights into scalable growth programs. You will optimize the hospital journey from initial awareness to the first successfully filled shift and long-term engagement. This remote-first opportunity offers significant ownership, cross-functional influence, and the chance to make a tangible difference for veterinary professionals and animal healthcare providers.

  • Growth strategy and planning: Develop and execute the hospital growth strategy in partnership with business and product leadership, setting measurable targets for acquisition, activation, reactivation, expansion, customer acquisition cost, and payback.
  • Budget and channel management: Own the growth marketing budget and channel mix, allocating investment across geographic markets based on hospital demand, veterinary professional availability, expected shift-fill rates, and long-term customer value.
  • Multi-channel acquisition: Lead B2B lead generation and account-based marketing initiatives alongside Sales, as well as direct-to-practice-manager acquisition through paid search, paid social, SEO, answer engine optimization (AEO), referrals, direct mail, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
  • Campaign development: Design and execute hospital-focused acquisition campaigns, contribute hospital targeting and conversion strategies to broader brand campaigns, and collaborate on industry conferences, webinars, sponsorships, and community events.
  • Lead targeting and sales alignment: Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Analytics to improve hospital targeting, lead scoring, routing, and handoff processes, ensuring the right prospects receive appropriate support through field teams or automated outreach.
  • Activation and conversion optimization: Own the conversion rate optimization roadmap, experimentation backlog, and first-fill playbook, improving the customer journey from landing page visits and registration through approval, shift posting, and successful shift fulfillment.
  • Experimentation and product collaboration: Work with Product and Growth Analytics to design, launch, and evaluate A/B tests and product experiments that improve sign-up conversion, onboarding, and first-shift completion.
  • Funnel analysis and customer insights: Identify friction points and drop-offs throughout the hospital journey by combining quantitative funnel analysis with qualitative feedback from practice owners, managers, and customer-facing teams.
  • Lifecycle and incentive strategy: Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing to develop onboarding, activation, and reactivation journeys, and partner with Pricing to determine incentive eligibility, offer structures, and expected returns relative to hospital lifetime value.
  • Messaging and creative development: Work with Brand and Product Marketing to refine hospital positioning, messaging, campaign creative, landing pages, and website experiences using customer insights and campaign performance data.
  • Retention and expansion: Lead initiatives to reactivate dormant or churned hospitals and those struggling to fill shifts, while developing programs that increase repeat bookings and adoption across additional veterinary staffing roles.
  • Measurement and attribution: Establish a rigorous growth measurement framework covering acquisition costs, cohort activation, shift-fill rates, customer lifetime value, payback periods, attribution, and controlled experiments, including holdout groups to measure incremental impact.
  • Performance reporting: Communicate results, budget utilization, and key learnings to business and marketing leadership, reallocating investment toward effective programs and making data-informed decisions when results fall short of expectations.
  • Marketplace coordination: Partner closely with the veterinary professional marketplace team to align hospital demand generation with professional supply, prioritizing markets where both sides of the marketplace can grow sustainably.
  • Growth infrastructure and leadership: Build repeatable testing frameworks, operating processes, and performance playbooks that establish a scalable foundation for long-term growth while promoting continuous improvement and cross-functional accountability.
