We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver innovative, scalable, and commercially viable technology solutions across enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and Microsoft technologies. In this client-facing role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, transforming sales-qualified opportunities into comprehensive, delivery-ready solutions. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, clients, engineers, and technology partners to define architectures, assess technical feasibility, and establish project scope and resource requirements. Your expertise will help organizations modernize their network infrastructure, adopt cloud technologies, and strengthen their digital capabilities. You will also act as a trusted technical advisor, presenting architecture strategies and recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders. This is an opportunity to combine technical leadership, commercial awareness, and consulting expertise in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Requirement Validation and Sales Collaboration: Evaluate sales-qualified opportunities by validating client requirements, technical feasibility, project scope, and delivery expectations. Work closely with sales teams to identify gaps, clarify requirements, and align technical solutions with timelines and commercial objectives.

Client Engagement and Technical Advisory: Lead client discussions to understand business challenges, refine technical requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions. Act as a trusted advisor by presenting technical proposals, architecture blueprints, implementation strategies, and technology roadmaps to business and technical stakeholders.

Solution Architecture and Design: Design comprehensive end-to-end technology solutions across SD-WAN, enterprise networking, Microsoft product ecosystems, and cloud implementation services. Ensure proposed architectures are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

Network and SD-WAN Solutions: Develop enterprise networking architectures covering routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS, BGP, network segmentation, and SD-WAN technologies. Support network transformation initiatives, including migration from traditional WAN infrastructures to modern SD-WAN solutions.

Microsoft Technology Solutions: Design solutions involving Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint. Incorporate Microsoft licensing considerations, security capabilities, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Zero Trust principles into proposed architectures.

Cloud Architecture and Implementation: Develop Azure and AWS solutions across IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud, and cloud migration initiatives. Define cloud governance strategies, security requirements, cost optimization approaches, and implementation plans.

Resource Planning and Commercial Estimation: Determine project resource requirements, estimate implementation effort in terms of resources and delivery days, and contribute to solution costing and commercial proposals.

Technical Documentation and Proposals: Prepare detailed architecture documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), technical proposals, and implementation roadmaps to support solution approval and delivery.

Internal Coordination and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with delivery leads, engineers, project managers, vendors, and practice leaders to validate proposed solutions and ensure technical and operational alignment.

Delivery Handover and Knowledge Transfer: Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation teams by providing complete technical documentation, solution details, resource estimates, and knowledge transfer following project award.

Vendor and Partner Engagement: Work with technology vendors and partner ecosystems, including Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, and Azure, to obtain technical guidance, validate solution designs, and support commercial requirements.

Requirements

At least 8 years of professional experience as a Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Architect, or Senior Technical Consultant within managed services, systems integration, technology consulting, or similar environments.

Proven experience designing complex, multi-technology solutions in client-facing consulting or pre-sales roles.

Demonstrated ability to transform sales-qualified opportunities into technically validated, commercially viable, and delivery-ready proposals.

Strong expertise in SD-WAN technologies, including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and VMware VeloCloud.

In-depth knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS, BGP, network segmentation, and legacy WAN-to-SD-WAN migrations.

Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint.

Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models and their commercial implications, along with Microsoft security solutions such as Defender, Sentinel, and Zero Trust architectures.

Hands-on architectural experience with Azure and/or AWS, covering IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud environments, cloud migration, governance, security, and cost optimization.

Strong commercial awareness and experience with resource planning, effort estimation, solution costing, and project scoping.

Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture designs, BOMs, SOWs, proposals, and implementation plans.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with the capacity to manage multiple opportunities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 15 years of formal education.

Relevant professional certifications are preferred, including CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent qualifications.
