Strategic Finance Lead (Founding)

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on finance leader to establish and lead the finance function at a fast-growing healthcare technology company. As the first dedicated finance hire, you will work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to shape financial strategy, strengthen business performance and support sustainable growth. You will take ownership of financial planning, forecasting, modeling and reporting while translating complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights. Beyond strategic analysis, you will oversee core finance operations and manage external accounting, bookkeeping and tax partners. This is a unique opportunity to build financial systems, processes and infrastructure from the ground up in an ambitious, remote-first environment. Your work will directly influence investment decisions, resource allocation and the company's long-term growth trajectory.

• Previous experience as an early-stage finance hire or in building a finance function from scratch.

• Experience in healthcare technology, infrastructure software, marketplaces or other operationally complex business environments.

• Familiarity with SaaS billing models and transaction-based or usage-based revenue structures.

• Strong understanding of unit economics and experience evaluating pricing strategies, commercial models and business expansion opportunities.

• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, including investment analysis, financial planning and commercial decision-making.

• Previous experience managing outsourced accounting, bookkeeping and tax relationships.
