Responsibilities

→Be present at the home during after-school hours as the responsible adult on site
→Offer a friendly, low-key presence and respond calmly to any unexpected situations
→Help set up and maintain the home, including organizing and refreshing living spaces
→Run errands and manage household shopping and supplies
→Coordinate with vendors and service providers, and be on site for appointments as needed
→Keep the home tidy, organized, and stocked
→Flag maintenance needs as they come up
→Prepare simple meals or snacks as needed (a plus, not required)
→Communicate regularly with the family’s team on priorities and updates

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Family Assistant, Household Assistant, or in a similar role in a private home
Calm, dependable, and sound in judgment
Organized and self-directed, with the ability to work independently
Discreet and respectful of the family’s privacy; willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
Comfortable around dogs (no pet care required)
Basic cooking skills a plus
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Legally authorized to work in the US
Within a commutable distance to Atherton, CA
Willing to complete a background check and provide excellent references

What We Offer

✓$50 to $55 per hour, depending on experience
