Senior Scrum Master Consultant

This is a consultancy mission for a Scrum Master at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and our values to every engagement.

• →Act as the key reference in projects following agile frameworks, especially Scrum methodology.
• →Ensure the global understanding of the methodology by the Project Team and help the team maximize project results.
• →Protect the team from internal and external distractions.
• →Coach the Project Team, business lines, and stakeholders on Agile Methodology, clarifying helpful and unhelpful interactions.
• →Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
• →Schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology.
• →Guarantee smooth use of Scrum methodology and help the Project Team face obstacles.
• →Provide assistance or support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog.
• →Assist and support the squad in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
• →Track squad capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
• →Ensure agile techniques used by the squad (Scrum or Kanban) are efficient, understood, and enacted.
• →Act as a servant-leader for the squad.
• →Shield the squad from interruptions, maximizing value creation.
• →Define and update the Squad Strategy with squad members.
• →Coach, challenge, and protect the squad.
• →Track squad capacity and velocity metrics for planning and improvement.
• →Sponsor continuous improvement, focusing on smooth acceptance and delivery by the squad.
• →Resolve squad-level impediments (risks, issues, etc.).
• →Engage in active internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• →Maintain relationships with third-party providers in collaboration with Cluster SM and Asset Management, when applicable.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Squad Scrum Master.
• Mandatory technical experience: knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g. Rally), sound knowledge of software development methodology, and project management methodology.
• Preferable technical experience: understanding of tooling on automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
• Mandatory business experience: proven on-the-field delivery experience, knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g. Kanban). Knowledge of the Payments domain is a differentiator.
• Soft skills: ability to manage complex environments and stakeholders, good team player, stress resistant, strategic mindset, effective communication (clear, concise, and respectful), empathy and patience, adaptability and flexibility, curiosity, and motivation to learn and self-improve.
• Language requirements: sound knowledge of English and at least one local language (Dutch or French). French knowledge is a real plus.
• Agile squads are cross-functional; all required disciplines are represented, and members are expected to contribute beyond their primary roles to achieve sprint goals.
• Expectation: 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
• Limited travel to Paris may be required.
