Responsibilities

Design custom automation equipment using 3D CAD software

Develop mechanical systems incorporating robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other mechanical components

Analyze equipment requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs

Collaborate with internal team and customers to optimize machine designs

Develop and conduct testing to validate equipment performance and functionality

Adapt designs based on customer and project requirements

Troubleshoot design and equipment challenges using creative problem-solving

Take ownership of designs from initial concept through project completion
We're looking for a creative, mechanically minded engineer who enjoys variety and takes ownership of delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating changing requirements and collaborating across teams to solve complex automation challenges.
Requirements
~1 min readBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
3+ years of experience designing automation equipment
Experience with 3D CAD software
Experience designing systems involving robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
High level of integrity and commitment to quality
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
