Climate Risk Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Climate Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing climate-related risks across our organization. This is a critical role that will help us navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by climate change.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Climate Risk Assessment: Conduct climate risk assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organization.

2. Risk Management: Develop and implement climate risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.

3. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and sustainability teams, to ensure climate-related risks are integrated into business decision-making.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with climate-related regulations and reporting requirements.

5. Climate Scenario Analysis: Conduct climate scenario analysis to inform strategic decision-making and risk management.

6. Reporting and Monitoring: Develop and maintain climate-related risk reporting and monitoring frameworks.

7. Training and Capacity Building: Provide training and capacity-building programs for employees on climate-related risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.

2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in climate risk management, sustainability, or environmental finance.

3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of climate-related risks and opportunities, familiarity with climate scenario analysis and risk management frameworks.
