Our Platform Engineering group builds internal tools for over a 100 Lendbuzz engineers in Boston & Tel Aviv.
We treat the platform as a product: our engineers are our users, we actively collect their feedback, we measure whether what we built is impactful for the organization, and we continuously improve based on feedback and metrics.
This position is a unique hybrid of a hands-on technical developer & leader with a highly analytical developer focused product manager.

Work together with your manager, other engineering managers, service owners and champions from various teams to understand their pains and prioritize the teams’ tasks accordingly.

Lead a team of engineers with a computer science background, keep their vision focused and aligned with management, teach them how to lead projects effectively, collect feedback and give good service to the engineers of the company

Build decentralized ecosystems that are very easy to contribute to with vibe coding (Backstage, CLI tools, Microservice templates, Self Service, HELM Charts values, etc)

Drive high-impact, multi-team technical initiatives from ideation to delivery by establishing clear technical standards, defining trackable compliance metrics while securing the buy-in of other engineering leaders

Lead Kubernetes (K8s) initiatives.

Manage research of cutting edge cloud native technologies

Computer Science degree from a leading university

5+ years of software development experience.

2+ years of experience developing applications on K8S using HELM/Kustomize/Crossplane/CDK/Other

Understand the concepts of Platform Engineering well

Strong backend development skills in a modern languages:
Typescript/Python with Asyncio/Go/Rust/Modern C#/Kotlin. -
Proficiency with Claude/Codex which includes writing skills, system prompts & delivering features across multiple repos.

Production experience running services on Kubernetes..

Proven experience writing design documents, presenting them to engineering leaders and answering hard technical questions in fluent English.

Experience writing and maintaining internal tools with an impact on developer experience such as:
Backstage/Port, internal CLI tools/Microservice templates/infra-related libraries, agentic flows/AI skills -
Experience working with open source K8S charts such as:
Keycloak, Debezium, Airflow, Temporal, a feature flag system or LangSmith
