Social Worker – Children’s Safeguarding

Job Title: Social Worker - Children’s Safeguarding (Advanced Practitioner Level)
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay Rate: £34.46 per hour 

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children’s Safeguarding (Advanced Practitioner Level) team, based in Middlesbrough.
This full-time role involves managing complex safeguarding cases, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and leading interventions to ensure child safety. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, contribute to court proceedings, and maintain accurate case records in line with statutory requirements.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Manage complex safeguarding cases involving children and families at risk.
• Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and lead interventions to ensure child safety and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective safeguarding responses.
• Contribute to court proceedings and provide high-quality written reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and duty rota as required.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have.  

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
• Substantial post-qualified experience in children’s safeguarding.
• Strong assessment, planning, and risk management skills.
• Confident in managing complex cases and working under pressure.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred practice.
