Responsibilities

→Assess, review and progress plans for children in need, including those accessing short breaks
→Respond to safeguarding concerns in line with statutory duties
→Manage an independent caseload, ensuring timely and effective decision making
→Produce high‑quality assessments, reports and evidence‑based plans
→Build purposeful relationships with children, families and partners to drive positive outcomes

Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
Post-qualifying experience in children’s social care, ideally within disability or CIN
Strong knowledge of Children’s Social Care legislation and care planning processes
Excellent communication, analytical and report‑writing skills
