JOB DESCRIPTION – Intermediate Frontend Developer

Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Division: Quicket

Contract Terms: Full-time

You will join Quicket’s Engineering team, responsible for building and evolving the technology that powers seamless ticketing experiences for event organisers and fans. The team works closely with Product, UX/UI, Operations and wider Ticketmaster colleagues to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions across web and mobile platforms.

As part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment, the team focuses on creating intuitive customer journeys, supporting high-demand live events and continuously improving the performance, accessibility and resilience of our products.

As an Intermediate Frontend Developer at Quicket, a Ticketmaster company, you will help build and enhance fast, scalable and intuitive digital experiences for fans and event organisers around the world. Quicket combines local market expertise with the scale, technology and global reach of Ticketmaster and Live Nation Entertainment.

Working primarily with Angular, you will develop high-quality web applications that are reliable, accessible and performant, particularly during high-demand event periods. You will work closely with senior engineers, Product and UX/UI teams to turn ideas and designs into secure, user-friendly solutions.

While this is a front-end-focused role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to backend development in .NET / .NET Core where needed. AI is an integral part of how we build software, and you will use AI-powered development tools in your everyday workflow to support design, coding, testing, code review and documentation. You will apply sound engineering judgement, validate AI-generated output and stay informed about emerging tools and practices that improve the quality and efficiency of our work.

  • →Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular.
  • →Use AI tools (e.g. coding assistants, agents and LLM-based tooling) as a core part of your daily workflow to design, build, test, review and document code faster and to a higher standard.
  • →Contribute to AI-powered product features where relevant, such as integrating LLM APIs into user-facing experiences.
  • →Work closely with UX/UI/product teams to translate designs into accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
  • →Integrate with backend services and RESTful APIs, and contribute to backend development (.NET / .NET Core) when required.
  • →Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with PCI DSS and GDPR.
  • →Participate in code reviews and follow front-end best practices, including the responsible use of AI-generated code.
  • →Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, and ensure vulnerabilities are managed in a timely manner.

  • HTML, CSS/SCSS and modern front-end tooling, with a focus on performance and accessibility.
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
