Responsibilities
~1 min read- →A strong mechanical working knowledge with some electrical engineering experience
- →The ideal applicant will be qualified, apprentice trained and/or time served in a similar position ideally to NVQ level 3
- →Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and general machining would be an advantage
- →Experienced in reactive and planned maintenance of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chain, rollers, bearings, gear boxes, motors etc.) and able to read technical drawings is essential
- →Team player with attention to detail
- →Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
- →Experience in mechanical fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activities
- →Excellent communication skills both oral and written
