Shop Attendant - Full Time - Central Area

The Shop attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-stocked and organized store, and ensuring efficient cash-handling operations. The job holder will act as our brand ambassador and will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming shopping experience for our valued customers. 

• →Greets customers upon entering the store and provides assistance with their shopping needs, answering questions and resolving queries;
• →Recognizes customer requirements and promotes and upsells supplementary Maypole products that enhance customer’s purchases, emphasizing the distinctive features and quality of Maypole’s products; 
• →Promotes Maypole’s special promotions to encourage customer engagement; 
• →Recommends seasonal items and new product introductions to keep customers informed about Maypole’s latest offerings; 

• Proven experience as a shop attendant or in a similar customer-facing role would be considered an asset
• Good command of the English language
• Food handling certification
