This position requires team members to efficiently move trailers around the facility to help prepare freight that is being transported to Menard, Inc. stores.

Responsibilities

→Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility
→Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
→Open and close swinging trailer doors.
→Ensure proper freight securement of all loaded trailers
→Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations
→Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system to ensure proper placement of trailers
→Perform pre-trip inspection on trailers
→Perform safety check of tractor vehicle prior to operation
→Basic mechanical skills.
