The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment center by maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and minimizing downtime to support daily production. This individual will work closely with the operations team and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• →Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• →Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
• →Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity
• →Hands-on experience operating varied manual and electric power tools
• →Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
• →Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance
• →Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner
• →Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
• →Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
• →Successful completion of on-site apprenticeship training required
• →Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
• →Effective problem-solving abilities.
• →Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• →Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (41 degrees and below)
• Regular work with computers, including G Suite and Excel. 
• Regular use of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
• Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds.
