Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics (AME-E OR M)

A Canadian aerospace company is hiring licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for heavy maintenance and modification programs, in two trades: Avionics (AME-E) and Mechanics (AME-M). Onsite in Vancouver, BC. Unionized role governed by Collective Agreement.

Hands-on licensed AME executing maintenance, repair, modification and inspection tasks against the customer check package and your scope of certification authority. Two trades open: Avionics (AME-E) and Mechanics (AME-M).

• Perform maintenance, repairs, modifications and inspection tasks on aircraft in your trade.
• Avionics (E): troubleshooting, wiring, harness modifications, installations and functional tests of electrical and electronic systems.
• Mechanics (M): servicing, repairs, modifications and functional tests on power plants, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems, exterior panels and hydraulic lines and cables.
• Work to Transport Canada regulations (CARs), the Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), and quality and operating procedures.
• Complete all associated documentation and reporting accurately.
• Coach and provide leadership to junior technicians as they progress in the trade.

• Transport Canada AME licence in hand: E (Avionics) or M (Mechanics).
• 48+ months experience performing AME duties.
• Fluent written and verbal English (mandatory).
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• C-130 experience an asset.
• Coaching and teamwork mindset.
